ECMI LAUNCH NEW WEBSITE

In March 2010 ECMI has launched its new website, demonstrating the range and depth of cigar manufacturing services available to clients.

Sales Director Aoife 'Dowd says "Typically our clients are in the trade - wholesalers, distributors and retailers from the US, Europe and other territories. Because they can't just pop in to see the factory and meet the team, the website has been developed to showcase our facilities and expertise".

Once of the central features of the site is the product gallery. The broad range of cigar products available is evident from the gallery and Aoife expects this to be a key sales support tool. "It's not practical for me to take our full product range on long-haul flights and sometimes you don't know what a customer might be interested in until you meet them. By displaying the range and options on the site we can short-circuit complex descriptions and let the product gallery speak for itself".

Another important module on the site is a range of Factory Tours - where visitors can view images of different elements of the manufacturing process at the plant. "The best way to demonstrate the comprehensive service available is to show clients the different Departments at work - many don't expect us to manufacture our own boxes for example and it's a distinct advantage that this process is all controlled in-house."Aoife says.

ECMI appointed http://www.inspiration.ie/ to develop the site and one of the key aspects of the investment was the work done to "optimise" the site so that it delivers sales leads from Google. Enterprise Ireland has supported the project which is central to ECMI's core focus on export markets. Aoife is very optimistic about future growth at the company "We're delighted to have got the support we needed to position ourselves as the true players that we are in this marketplace - it's exciting times!"
